Water Tank

Sitting centre stage is a platforn raised six feet off of floor level, Sitting on the platform sits a steel tank filled completely with water, weighing over 1.5 tonnes and containing over 300 gallons of water.

The illusionist enters and is shackled, hooded and then led up the steps onto the platform. The lid is opened and the illusionist climbs into the tank, holding his breath as he does so. The lid is now padlocked shut and a curtain raised over the tank, while he tries to make his escape. The curtain is lowered one last time and the audience see that he has freed one hand and is desperately banging on the tank to get out.

Once again the curtain is lifted and almost immediately dropped to reveal the tank completely empty. A large bang iis heard from the back of the room and standing in the middle of the audience is the illusionist!
